GTA 6 Pre-Orders Are Now Live — Price Confirmed at Rs. 6,000, Here’s Everything You Need to Know

The wait is officially over. Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders went live at midnight local time on June 25, 2026, and with that came the one piece of information the entire gaming world had been waiting on — the official price. Rockstar Games has confirmed that the Standard Edition of GTA 6 will cost Rs. 6,000/$79.99, making it one of the most expensive AAA titles at launch this generation. A second tier, the Ultimate Edition, is priced at Rs. 7,500/$99.99 and packs in an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and additional content woven across the game’s single-player story. There are only two editions — no Collector’s Edition has been announced.

What’s Included and Where to Buy

Every pre-order regardless of edition comes with a free Vintage Vice City Pack — the exact contents of which are yet to be fully detailed. Pre-orders are live now on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store for digital copies, as well as at global retail partners including Amazon for physical versions. It is worth noting that the physical edition will not include a disc — it comes as a download code in a box, a trend that has been quietly spreading across the industry. Players who pre-order digitally can begin pre-loading the game from November 12, ahead of the November 19 launch date.

No Multiplayer at Launch — And No PC Yet

One of the most significant reveals that came alongside the pre-order launch is that GTA 6 is, at launch, a purely single-player experience. Rockstar described it as “a single-player experience set in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.” No GTA Online mode has been announced for day one. A PC version has also not been confirmed, consistent with Rockstar’s usual pattern of launching on console first. For Indian players, there is no official INR pricing announced yet, though regional pricing on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store is expected to go live shortly. The game launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
