Jio Partners with Good Game to Launch India’s First Global Gaming Reality Show with ₹1 Crore Prize
Reliance Jio has partnered with Good Game Group Inc to bring Good Game India, a first-of-its-kind global gaming reality show, to audiences across the country. The show is set to premiere in July 2026 and aims to discover India’s next global gaming star.
A New Reality Format Blending Gaming, Content, and Community
Designed as a large-scale digital-first entertainment experience, Good Game India combines competitive gaming with content creation and real-world challenges. Contestants will not only compete based on in-game skills but will also be judged on creativity, on-screen presence, and their ability to engage and build a community.
The show will feature well-known personalities including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Rishabh Pant, and Ujjwal Chaurasia as ambassadors and judges, adding mainstream appeal to the project.
With a prize pool of ₹1 crore, the winner will also get a chance to represent India on a global stage. The show will be distributed across multiple Jio platforms, including JioHotstar, JioTV, and the JioGames app, aiming to reach hundreds of millions of viewers.
By combining esports-style competition, influencer-driven content, and interactive fan engagement, the initiative signals a shift in how gaming is positioned in India—moving beyond just play to a full-scale entertainment and creator ecosystem.
