  • Web browsers

No downloads are needed—users can simply log in with their Jio number on the JioGames app and start playing instantly.

This initiative reflects a broader strategy from both companies to elevate the mobile gaming experience in India. “This isn’t just about connectivity,” a Jio spokesperson said. “We’re delivering next-gen gaming with 5G speed, cloud access, and exclusive content in a single pack.”

Krafton India’s Siddharth Merrotra called the partnership a meaningful step toward building India’s mobile-first gaming ecosystem.

At the Center of the Esports Boom

This launch also ties into the broader context of India’s growing esports presence. S8UL, India’s top esports organization, is already competing globally in events like the Esports World Cup 2025 with titles including BGMI, EAFC 25, and Apex Legends. Jio’s new plans could offer a boost to aspiring gamers across the country, giving them better access and competitive tools right from their smartphones.

With affordable pricing, in-game exclusives, and seamless cloud access, Jio’s gaming recharge plans could mark a new phase in Indian gaming.
