The vehicle lineup in Battlefield 6 is expanding with the addition of the Little Bird Scout Helicopter, but there are plenty of other options for traversing the battlefield, both on the ground and in the air. Transports, whether terrestrial or aerial, help you and your squad get into the action and move between objectives swiftly, while IFVs, tanks, attack helicopters, and jets deliver heavy firepower to dominate the enemy. With a variety of customizable vehicle types, mastering vehicular combat in Battlefield 6 requires some knowledge. Here’s a comprehensive list of all the vehicles in the game along with a brief overview of each.

Battlefield 6 features 10 main vehicle types, including a variety of machines available to NATO and Pax Armata (PA). While these vehicles are inspired by real-world counterparts, they often have different names.

The types of vehicles available in a match depend on the map and game mode. Smaller maps may only have ground vehicles or none at all, while larger maps will include a mix of ground and air vehicles, with the biggest maps supporting jets. Some maps also provide both teams access to the Rugged MV640 quadbike for quick two-player transport. Additionally, stationary AA guns can be controlled by players to take down enemy aircraft. Coming in Season 2, players will gain access to dirt bikes, the fastest ground vehicles in the game, and a new light tactical vehicle that prioritizes protection over firepower. Looking ahead, a community update hinted that requests for naval warfare have been acknowledged, suggesting boats and related maps could be in development for a future release.

For now, here’s a breakdown of how each vehicle type in Battlefield 6 operates and their capabilities:

Main Battle Tanks (MBTs) are the most formidable ground vehicles, equipped with powerful weaponry and a variety of shell types. They are highly customizable, and if you’re looking for the best tank loadouts, I’ve got you covered!

These tanks are heavily armored and excel at destroying ground vehicles (and even aerial targets if you have good aim), but their size makes them easy targets.

Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs) are lighter tanks designed primarily for engaging enemy soldiers. Their smaller size grants them greater agility compared to MBTs, and they can transport troops as well.

These speedy vehicles can carry up to five players, making them ideal for quickly moving your squad between objectives. While they feature a machine gun turret for offense, they offer minimal protection, so steer clear of direct confrontations.

A heavily armored vehicle that serves as a bridge between light transport and IFV, accommodating up to four players. It comes equipped with weaponry and can be upgraded with various equipment to enhance its functionality and support teammates, making it effective for capturing and holding objectives.

These vehicles are designed to eliminate enemy aircraft using ground-to-air missiles and rapid-fire cannons, but they can also be surprisingly effective against light transports and infantry.

Attack helicopters are armed with powerful weapons to target enemy ground vehicles and objectives. Their ability to maneuver quickly across the map is a significant advantage, but they are vulnerable to attacks from nearly all vehicle types and even Battlefield 6 Engineers. As the only customizable aerial vehicle, you’ll want to optimize your loadout for maximum effectiveness!

The Little Bird Scout Helicopter is known for its small size, agility, and fragility. It’s incredibly fast and maneuverable, boasting impressive firepower, but it offers little protection for its crew and can be easily shot down. As the pilot, your role is to remain mobile while providing support through weapon fire and reconnaissance.

These helicopters are akin to Light Ground Transport vehicles, capable of carrying up to five people and armed with two minigun positions.

Battlefield 6 features two types of jets: Attack Jets, which are small, fast, and capable of engaging both air and ground targets with their autocannons, air-to-ground missiles, and bombs.

Fighter Jets are larger aircraft designed for dogfighting and countering aerial threats to achieve air superiority. Mastering these jets and successfully taking down enemy aircraft can be challenging, so check out some flying tips to help you become an ace pilot.
