A Guide to Accessing Free PS5 Games

If you’re on the hunt for free PS5 games, chances are you’ve just snagged a new console and are eager to dive into some gaming action. With the rising costs of games, it’s totally understandable to seek out budget-friendly options. Fortunately, the PlayStation Store is packed with fantastic free-to-play titles that let you jump into gaming without spending a dime. Here’s how to find and download free games on your PS5.

To simplify your search for free PS5 games, Sony has conveniently organized all the Free to Play titles into one collection. Start by navigating to the home screen of your PlayStation 5 and scroll left until you spot the PlayStation Store icon. Press X on your controller to enter the store. From there, tap R1 to switch to the Collections tab and scroll down to the bottom of that section, where you’ll see a Free to Play button.

Click on that, and you’ll be greeted with a lineup of popular Free to Play games, including Fortnite, Roblox, Marvel Rivals, and many more. All of these titles can be downloaded and enjoyed at no cost, offering you potentially hundreds of hours of entertainment for free. Additionally, just above the Free to Play button on the Collections screen, there’s a Demos section where you can try out even more games for free, though these demos may provide limited experiences to entice you to buy the full versions.
