Acquiring Stone in The Forge: A Quick Guide

As you embark on your journey to master blacksmithing in The Forge, you’ll need to get familiar with resource gathering through Umut The Brave’s quest, The Basics of Mining. His request is straightforward—just collect a few resources—but first, you’ll need to know how to obtain Stone in The Cave to check off the initial item on his list. After spending considerable time exploring the mines for rare minerals, I’ve gathered some tips to help you kick off your search.

To find Stone, start by mining Pebbles in The Cave. While larger rock nodes deeper in the mines also yield Stone, I recommend targeting the smaller Pebbles first, as they’re easier to access and you can avoid the more dangerous enemies lurking further in. Here’s a quick rundown of the process:

Pebbles primarily drop Stone, but you might also come across other valuable materials like Sand Stone, Copper, and Iron. Don’t overlook these; they can be quite useful! Remember, Umut’s quest also requires four Tin and five Copper, so keep that in mind as you gather.
