Acquiring Water Filters in Arc Raiders: A Guide

Water Filters are a key item you’ll need for the Avian Alarm project in Arc Raiders, even though they don’t serve much purpose otherwise. While you could recycle or sell them, it’s not really worth the effort. Right now, though, you need to donate three of them to your bird sanctuary, and you might be wondering where to find them.

The good news is that locating the Water Filters is a breeze once you know the right spots. Plus, they’re conveniently close to an extraction lift, allowing for a quick in-and-out.

You can find Water Filters either as loose items or inside containers in Industrial areas. However, the best hunting ground is the breachable metal crates located in the Power Generation Complex in the northern part of Dam Battlegrounds.

In the Generator Hall, which features an exposed ceiling next to the extraction lift, you’ll encounter plenty of metal boxes to breach. Look for a crate by the entrance, two at the top of the stairs, and another at the back of the hall. There are additional crates scattered throughout the hallways of the Power Generation Complex, and you can also spot several in the Hydroponic Dome Complex, often perched on shelves.

Breach and search each crate, and you’re likely to snag a Water Filter or two. In fact, I managed to find all three in just one run. Quick and easy!

You’ve probably noticed these crates in other areas of Dam Battlegrounds and beyond. It’s always a good idea to break into them, regardless of whether they’re in an Industrial zone.

If you’re having trouble finding them on Dam Battlegrounds because others have already looted the area, consider checking out the Shipping Warehouse on Spaceport. This location also has several metal boxes that could contain Water Filters.
