Complete Guide to Catching Every New Pal in Palworld 1.0

The Palworld 1.0 update introduces a whopping 72 new pals for you to catch, with some adding fresh entries to your Palpedia even if you can’t snag them. This expansion comes alongside the new World Tree region and an expanded Palpagos map, which can be a bit tricky to navigate. But don’t worry, I’m here to help simplify your journey.

I’ve managed to catch all the new pals in Palworld 1.0 and am now on the hunt for a few extras. As the update is fresh, I’m creating these maps in real-time, so keep an eye out for updates. For now, areas without maps will serve as handy checklists for completing your Palpedia.

This guide highlights the best spots to encounter the new pals for the first time, though some can be found in multiple regions. If a pal appears in more than one location, I’ll note the other spots, but they’ll only be listed once to keep things straightforward.

Keep in mind that the level recommendations don’t factor in bosses in the area, so be cautious before diving into their territory. Some regions may be easier or harder for catching new pals based on terrain and gear, so treat these recommendations as flexible guidelines.

???? Pupperai???? Clovee???? Tanzee Ignis???? Wispaw???? Amione???? Muffly

**Recommended for Levels 1-30**
You’ll kick off your adventure in the Plateau of Beginnings on Windswept Island, where heading north will lead you to a few new pals. Expect to encounter Pupperai and Clovee first, while Tanzee Ignis and Wispaw can be found near the Autumn Rocks.

My next catch was an Amione floating over the water, followed by one of the many Mufflies at the Moonless Shore.

**Recommended for Levels 20-35**
I caught the feisty little lightning pup Puffolt in the Bamboo Groves first, with Elgrove also appearing in the same area. Then, I ventured into the Twilight Dunes and found Skutlass along the beaches while searching for Hardwood.

Just a heads up, I was a bit under-leveled for the level 30+ pals in the desert, and it cost me more than once.

Dupin is a quirky little pal that can be found on every island, but they’re elusive in most zones except for The World Tree.

You’ll encounter Panthalus as a challenging pal to catch, but you’ll need to capture the flying pal first to access The World Tree. Be prepared for a tough fight, and it’s a good idea to consult a detailed guide on how to catch Panthalus.

As for Astralym, it’s the final boss of The World Tree region, but you can’t catch it. Like other pals with a human trainer, it’s off-limits and won’t drop an egg after the battle. For now, you’ll have to settle for a vague entry in your Palpedia.
