To solve the Sanctum of Temperance puzzle in Crimson Desert, you first need to unlock the Witch faction questline during Chapter 3’s main quest. These vendors allow you to slot Abyss Gears and also grant access to all the sanctum puzzles across Hernand, enabling you to interact with them instead of just receiving a message about needing to “meet a certain someone.”
This puzzle is quite similar to others in the area, so here’s a step-by-step guide to cleanse the sanctum and keep the witches satisfied.
Like the Sanctum of Benediction, this puzzle is straightforward. As shown in the video, you need to locate and slot a battery cube into the central device and repair one of the surrounding pylons. First, clear out the enemies in the area.
Once that’s complete, just wait a moment for everything to power up, and you’ll have successfully solved the Sanctum of Temperance. Elowen will appear shortly after, followed by a cutscene.
