Discover the Bird City event in Arc Raiders and find out when you can join in!
Arc Raiders’ latest Headwinds update has introduced the Bird City event, a fresh map modifier exclusive to the Buried City, focusing on our feathered friends. While the timing for Bird City may not be ideal for everyone, the rewards are definitely worth the effort, so make sure to drop in when you can.
Let’s break down what the Bird City map modifier brings to the table, how it can benefit you, and the schedule based on your timezone. Keep in mind that this is a minor map modifier, akin to Lush Blooms, meaning it replaces the standard matchmaking for the Buried City map rather than being a separate node like Night Raid.
Bird City is active several times a day at specific intervals (every eight hours) and lasts for just one hour, giving you a limited window to jump in.
Here’s the Bird City schedule in your timezone:
According to the in-game description, the Bird City event boosts your chances of finding trinkets, and you’ll notice more ziplines and soundtrap birds scattered throughout the map. What’s not immediately clear is that all the chimneys now feature bird nests that are lootable—these nests significantly increase your odds of snagging trinkets, including the new rubber ducks.
Essentially, you’ll want to climb onto any roof and check the chimneys for loot, which can include basic crafting materials, nature items like mushrooms and prickly pears, and valuable trinkets. It’s an easy way to rake in some serious cash. The best spots to hunt for bird nests are Town Hall, Santa Maria Houses, Piazza Arbusto, and Plaza Rosa, where multiple chimneys are clustered together.
Additionally, the Bird City event introduces unique rubber ducks. In total, you can find seven different rubber ducks, all of which are valuable trinkets worth collecting and selling.
