Exploring the Locations in Diablo 4’s Chronicles of Creation

The Chronicles of Creation in Diablo 4 serve a similar purpose to the Altars of Lilith found in the main game, but they’re specific to the isles of Skovos. These are an excellent way to quickly rack up Renown, which in turn unlocks bonus skill and paragon points through the reward track associated with that currency.

However, these statues come with a bit more of a challenge than Lilith’s altars. To activate them, you’ll need to locate Weathered Shrines and connect them to two other statues. This guide will reveal the locations of the Chronicles of Creation across each isle, so be aware that it contains spoilers for the Skovos map. Here’s how they function and where to find them.

When you stumble upon a Weathered Shrine in Diablo 4, you’ve discovered a Chronicle of Creation waiting to be activated. To do so, as hinted by the riddle on the shrine, you must find a statue of Lilith and a statue of Inarius nearby. Turn both statues to face the shrine, and a beam of light will connect them.

After that, interact with the shrine to complete the Chronicle of Creation, earning XP and Renown for your efforts. If you find a statue of Inarius or Lilith, you can also turn them until they emit the beam of light, which will guide you to the corresponding shrine. I encountered some bugs with a few of these, but I simply portaled back to Temis and returned to reactivate them.

There are 30 Chronicles of Creation scattered throughout Skovos, averaging about five per island. Currently, I’m missing two since Athulua only seems to have three statues, and I’ve thoroughly explored each island, including the strongholds.
