FC 26 Team of the Year: Release Date and Full Schedule Revealed

The FC 26 TOTY release date is here, and the item drop schedule is already in motion. Kicking things off in the Team Of The Year promo are the attackers, meaning some lucky players will be able to snag Ousmane Dembele, Kylian Mbappe, or Erling Haaland this weekend. Midfielders like Pedri are set to follow. You can find the complete list of players from both the men’s and women’s line-ups in your FC 26 TOTY release guide.

The FC 26 release date was Friday, January 16, after two weeks of intense fan voting. Initially, one men’s and one women’s team were announced, featuring three players who received a remarkable boost to a 97 overall rating: Ousmane Dembele (ST, Paris SG), Aitana Bonmati (CM, Barcelona), and Alessia Russo (ST, Arsenal). Honourable Mentions cards, including Marc Cucurella, are also on the way.

But that’s not all; the FC 26 FC Pro Live Tracker, showcasing players like Darwin Nunez and Alejandro Garnacho, is still going strong.

As in previous years, the FC 26 TOTY release schedule is divided into four stages. First, we have the attackers; next up are the midfielders; then it’s the defenders and goalkeepers, including Gigi Donnarumma; and finally, all cards will be available in packs for a week-long grand finale. Plus, we can expect 12th Man and 12th Woman cards to be introduced during that second week.

The first TOTY Honourable Mentions card belongs to Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella, who now boasts an OVR of 88. To obtain him, you’ll need to complete all four tasks listed below by Friday, January 23. For gameplay assistance, check out the FC 26 skill moves guide and the FC 26 chemistry styles list.

In addition to the modern cards, EA has also rolled out a new set of legends, forming the FC 26 TOTY Icons Team 1. The complete set is detailed below.

FC 26 TOTY Honourable Mentions highlight players who narrowly missed out on the main teams following the fan vote. As of Friday, January 16, only Marc Cucurella was available, but more players like Michael Olise are gradually being added to the roster.

The full FC 26 TOTY cards list is accurate as of Monday, January 19. Final positions will be confirmed as players are added to packs. If you’re on the hunt for the best kits to showcase your new signings, be sure to check out the FC 26 best kits guide.
