Guide to Completing The Scarecrow Challenge in Valor Mortis

????‍⬛ The medallion can be found along the path to the left of the scarecrow, resting against a tree by a cross.????‍⬛ The letter featuring a drawing is located on the upper floor of the large house, to the left of the “Fields” lantern, which you can access through a gate that you’ll unlock as a shortcut later.????‍⬛ After returning both items, your next task is to discover the lover’s hideaway in the barn attic near the big house.

In the Scarecrow quest of Valor Mortis, your mission is to retrieve two items belonging to the unfortunate soul bound in the field: a medallion and a note with a drawing.

The video above illustrates the three key locations you need to visit: where to find both items and the hayloft after you’ve returned them to the scarecrow. The medallion is just to the left of the scarecrow, down a short path through the field leading to a cross against a tree, where a corpse appears to have dropped it. The note with the drawing is a bit trickier to locate:

Once you have both items, return them to the scarecrow, and then you’ll need to find the lover’s old hideaway. This is where the barn I mentioned earlier comes into play.

Follow the same steps as before, but after you turn left (before reaching the gate leading to the area with the Volunteer guarding the carriage), head towards the barn visible on your right. Navigate around the back and climb into the hayloft.

Inside, you’ll witness an echo of the lovers meeting, and as a reward for your efforts, you’ll receive the Bountiful Harvest amber, which restores health when collecting Nephtoglobin remnants.
