Locating the Festival Loop Speed Zone in Forza Horizon 6
In this week’s Theory of Evolution challenge in Forza Horizon 6’s Series 2, your task is to earn three stars at the Festival Loop speed zone using the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TM. The first challenge is locating this speed zone on the busy map.
The next hurdle is achieving that coveted three-star rating. While the Lancer is a personal favorite, it may not have the power needed right off the bat. Here’s how to tackle it.
The Festival Loop speed zone is situated at the southern edge of the Horizon Festival grounds in the Ohtani region—look for the red sign icon featuring two cameras. This speed zone is a brief stretch of dirt (and snow in Winter) that winds around the festival, featuring just two turns, and you can start from either end.
To conquer the Theory of Evolution challenge, you need to average 90 mph to secure three stars. The standard B-class Lancer might struggle to hit that mark, so I suggest upgrading it to S1 for improved speed and handling—be sure to equip rally or snow tires.
You can opt for the auto upgrade feature, but I found great success with KapienPL’s dirt tuning. Here’s the share code: 129 741 033.
On the straights, you can confidently press the accelerator, but be cautious around the corners to prevent spinning out or getting stuck in deeper snow. Since it’s a short speed zone, maintaining a high average speed is manageable as long as you stick to the dirt path.
