Locating the Greenish-Blue Car in Silent Hill 2 Remake
In the Silent Hill 2 remake, your quest for the greenish blue car begins after you reach the back of Neely’s Bar. Here, you’ll find a letter that points you toward a specific vehicle with a license plate ending in 06. While this information seems useful, the actual car is tucked away in a gated area that isn’t immediately visible during your exploration, making it less straightforward to locate than the note implies. So, if you’re on the hunt for that elusive greenish blue car, here’s what you need to do.
After you repair the jukebox in the Silent Hill 2 remake, you’ll receive a key that grants access to the back rooms of Neely’s Bar. Inside, you’ll discover the letter mentioning a drunken man and the greenish blue car, simply stating that “it’s out back.”
Although this might not seem crucial at first, James will mark it on your map, indicating that it’s an objective worth pursuing. Exit through the white door in the office to begin your search. However, when the letter mentions the car being “out back,” it actually refers to a location deep down the alley, behind a rusted blue gate leading to a new area.
Once you pass through that door, you’ll spot the greenish blue car right away. But since there’s no clear indication to leave the initial area or any hint that the gate opens, it’s easy to get sidetracked searching the nearby cars and wondering why you can’t find the right one.
Approach the car, and you’ll notice a bloody pile of clothes nearby, which contains a key to the Wood Side Apartments. As soon as you pick it up, three lying figures will attack you, so be prepared to fend them off. After dealing with them, you’ll see that one of the figures knocked over two dumpsters, creating a new path for you to explore.
This new route won’t be marked on your map, but it’s the only way out after the encounter. Following it will lead you to Katz Street, providing a clear path to the Wood Side Apartments, where you’ll need to obtain the Silent Hill 2 chute courtyard key—your first step in tackling the coin cabinet puzzle in the SH2 Remake.
