Powering Up the Protocol Resonance Tower in Arknights: Endfield
Figuring out how to transmit power to the Protocol Resonance Tower in Arknights: Endfield is one of the first tasks you’ll tackle to get your factory operational after landing on Talos-II. The game does a solid job of guiding you through various factory mechanics, whether it’s setting up ore extractors for passive mining, using conveyor belts for automated production, or deploying gun turrets to protect your outposts.
However, the initial step of constructing Relay Towers and linking them can be a bit perplexing, leaving you wondering what to do next. Here’s a breakdown of the process, including how to place the Relay Towers and connect them, so you can complete the Valley Reboot quest and get your Automation Core up and running.
After you touch down on Talos-II and finish the Break the Siege quest by taking out the Ankhor at the AIC Research Center, you’ll need to battle through a swarm of Landbreakers at the Hub Base Power Plant to clear the way for the PAC and kickstart your factory.
Before anything else, you’ll need to establish power. Once the PAC arrives, your objective will be to “Transmit power to the Protocol Resonance Tower,” located further south. This requires placing Power Relays and connecting them with cables. It might seem a bit daunting at first, so here’s a step-by-step guide:
In total, you’ll need three towers, including the initial one, to connect the Automation Core. As you progress, you’ll find yourself dragging and connecting cables frequently, so you’ll quickly get the hang of it.
If you accidentally place a Relay Tower and want to relocate it, just scroll down to Facility Details when interacting with it and select the Stash option on the right.
