Connecting the Headwinds and Shrouded Sky expansions, the latest update for Arc Raiders introduces the Shared Watch event. Running from February 10 to February 24, this event encourages players to unite against a common foe: the Arc machines. If you’re a friendly raider, you’ll likely find yourself in cooperative lobbies.

Here’s how to earn Merits during the Shared Watch event and the rewards you can unlock. Keep in mind, this is a limited-time event, so you’ll need to act fast to snag the ultimate prize, the fully upgraded Slugger outfit—though its design might leave you questioning its appeal.

During the Shared Watch event, you’ll earn Merits by destroying, assisting, and damaging Arc machines. Notably, you won’t gain Merits from battling other players, although PvP is still possible. This isn’t a separate PvE mode or matchmaking. Unlike previous events, such as Stella Montis, not all XP will convert to Merits at the end of a run.

You earn Merits based on XP specifically from defeating Arc machines (100 XP equals one Merit), making it easier to rack up points with friends as you hunt down as many machines as possible during matches.

The tougher the Arc, the more Merits you’ll earn. For instance, smaller Arcs like Wasps, Hornets, and Snitches yield 100-200 XP, while Rocketeers, Leapers, and Bastions provide around 500 XP. You can also earn XP for damaging Arc machines and assisting in major kills, so you don’t always need to land the final blow.

Events like Night Raids are excellent for scoring high, as is sniping Rocketeers from rooftops in Spaceport, a familiar tactic if you’ve tackled Trials. Bird City is also a solid choice due to the abundance of Snitches, allowing you to summon plenty of Wasps and Hornets.

As for your Merits, they will help you progress through the Shared Watch events page and the rewards track. You can unlock items, up to 150 Raider Tokens, and the new Slugger baseball-themed cosmetic set, which features a unique design.

There are 21 rewards available, requiring you to earn 1,050 Merits, or 105,000 XP to unlock:
