Set Up Your Own Time-Saving Teleporter in Hytale
Navigating the expansive world of Orbis in Hytale can be quite the grind, especially with the current limitations on horse taming. You’ll find yourself frequently traveling between various zones to gather region-specific materials, which can be a hassle. The best way to streamline your journeys? Crafting a teleporter.
To get started, you’ll need a variety of materials to create both the Arcanist’s Workbench and the teleporter itself. Once you have those crafted, you’ll still need to set everything up correctly. No need to stress—I’ll guide you through the process.
First, you’ll want to craft an Arcanist’s Workbench, which requires specific materials at a tier two Workbench:
While the Arcanist’s Workbench doesn’t have much functionality at the moment due to the incomplete magic system, it serves as the foundation for your teleporter.
Using the Arcanist’s Workbench, you can craft the teleporter item with the following materials:
The good news is that crafting a single teleporter gives you two gateways, allowing you to travel between two locations. If you want to connect more spots, just craft additional teleporters.
With your two teleporter gateways ready, place them at the locations you wish to connect and select the target warp (the entrance/exit). When you set them up, interact with the portal and take note of the warp name (or customize it to something more memorable) since you’ll need to choose the target warp for each teleporter. For instance, you could set one up in your home and another in a distant biome to save on travel time.
Once everything is in place, simply walk through one portal and emerge from the other. You can change the warp target location anytime if you want to fast travel elsewhere or if you need to correct a setup error.
