Setting Up the Bird Trap for the Avian Alarm Project in Arc Raiders

Arc Raiders’ latest initiative, the Avian Alarm project, follows a familiar pattern where you’ll need to gather various materials to progress through each stage. The first task, however, feels more like a mini-quest: you’ll need to set a bird trap near buoys on the new Riven Tides map.

After you’ve completed this initial step of checking on the birds, it’s back to resource hunting to equip your feathered friends with the essentials. This training is all about teaching them to spot potential threats, like seismic activity. Turns out, having a bird brain can be quite useful!

To find the right spot, head northeast of the Port Authority Building at the top of the Riven Tides map. This location is a bit of a trek from the Seabed clue you receive. Make your way down to the dry seabed next to the sea wall outside the Port Authority Building, where you’ll spot a large red buoy sticking out of the sand.

Nearby, you’ll find several spots to set your bird trap. Just choose one and interact with the prompt to place it. No special items are needed for this task, despite how it may sound.

Since this area is close to Stacking Yard, it’s a great chance to tackle steps in both the Shoring Up Defenses and Battening Down quests from Apollo, which will help you get acquainted with the new map.
