Solasta has quietly become a favorite among CRPG enthusiasts, and Solasta 2 aims to elevate the series even further, potentially attracting a larger player base. The demo released last year left a strong impression, reminiscent of the vibes from Baldur’s Gate 3, but in its own unique way. Now, the focus shifts to the launch details for Solasta 2 and its early access debut.
Early access will kick off with a substantial portion of the first act, with more content planned for the future. Here’s when you can dive in and what to expect. Just a heads up: if you’re hoping to team up with friends like in BG3, that feature won’t be available right at launch.
Solasta 2 is set to launch on Thursday, March 12, at 4 PM UTC, which translates to various times around the world.
There won’t be a preload option for early access, so you’ll need to wait for the official launch. The initial act is expected to last around 10-15 hours, so the download shouldn’t take too long.
Tactical Adventure has announced that the base price for early access will be $39.99 / 39.99€ / £33.99, indicating that the full release may come at a higher price.
At launch, Solasta 2’s early access will include:
Following a model similar to Larian’s with Divinity and notably Baldur’s Gate 3, Tactical Adventure plans to introduce multiplayer, additional Ancestries and classes, a higher level cap, factions, crafting, and more throughout the early access period. Unfortunately, this means multiplayer won’t be available right at launch.
