Subnautica 2 Console Commands: Activate God Mode, Unlock All Blueprints, Craft Freely, and Adjust FOV
Modders are quick on the draw, aren’t they? Subnautica 2 has just hit early access, and already there are some exciting mods available that many players will want to check out.
If you’re curious about whether Subnautica 2 features a debug console like its predecessor, the answer is no—at least not officially. However, modders have managed to unlock a debug console, and with a few simple mod installations, you can gain access to it. This allows you to use Subnautica 2 console commands to activate cheats such as god mode, instant item spawning, and unlocking all blueprints and recipes.
You can even adjust your field of view (FOV) in Subnautica 2 using console commands, a feature that isn’t currently available in the game.
To get started, launch Subnautica 2 and press F2 while playing to bring up the command console.
Once you hit F2, you’ll see a list of commands right on your screen that allow you to spawn items in your inventory, toggle survival mechanics like hunger and suffocation, and expand your inventory slots.
Additionally, there are commands you can manually input into the console. Here’s a list of the console commands we’ve discovered so far and their functions.

We’ll continue to update this list with more Subnautica 2 console commands as we uncover and test them. Keep in mind that some commands exist in the game but are currently disabled, even with mods.
These commands are present but not yet functional:
We may need to wait for an official update to access those features. Meanwhile, Unknown Worlds has confirmed that they plan to introduce official console commands and FOV options in future updates for Subnautica 2’s early access.
“We are planning updates to the game that will include console and camera functions, but are still trying to figure out the timing as we want to make sure these roll out in a way that enables all players—console and PC—to use them,” said game design lead Anthony Gallegos.
