Top Talents for Every Specialization in Star Wars Zero Company

When you start recruiting operators in Star Wars Zero Company, you’ll quickly realize the importance of selecting the right talents. Each operator comes with a specific class and talent, but the great news is that you can respec them in the change specialization menu after recruitment.

This flexibility means you can prioritize choosing characters based on their appearance or vibe rather than just their initial talents, which you can adjust later. Some talents synergize exceptionally well with Zero Company’s specializations, so let’s break down all the available talents and their levels, along with my top recommendations for each class.

There are ten talents you can recruit for operators in Star Wars Zero Company:

– This Operator’s ranged and melee attacks deal +2 damage to elite and boss enemies.
– This operator gains 1 stack of evasion (next attack is evaded). Once per turn.
– Applies 1 stack of vicious (next attack is a crit) to this operator. Once per combat.
– Taunts the selected enemy. Once per turn.
– This operator gains a bonus +5 health and +1 defense.
– Earn an additional +150 credits when this operator completes a combat mission. Does not stack.
– Trigger an explosive object on the battlefield to detonate, immediately affecting any units nearby. Once per combat.
– Earn an additional +5 intel rewards when this operator completes a combat mission. Does not stack.
– Applies 1 stack of invulnerable (prevents all damage from next attack) to the operator. Equipping this ability also increases health by +2. Once per turn.
– Increases defense by +2 while this operator is injured.

Now that we’ve covered the talents, let’s discuss the best options for each specialization in the game.

Class

Talents

Assault

A Life of Labor, Grit

Gunslinger

Anticipation, Grit, A Life of Labor

Heavy

Taunt, Grit, Anticipation

Medic

Anticipation, Espionage, Thievery

Scoundrel

Anticipation, Cold-Blooded

Scout

Anticipation, Sabotage, Espionage, Thievery

Sharpshooter

Cold-Blooded, The Bigger They Are…

Soldier

A Life of Labor, Grit

In my opinion, the standout talents for any class are Life of Labor, Anticipation, and Grit. Life of Labor provides a solid overall stat boost that benefits nearly every class, while Anticipation and Grit offer effective ways to dodge damage. Anticipation, especially at its highest level, allows you to evade three attacks per turn, which is incredibly powerful.

There are clear synergies between certain talents and classes. For instance, the Heavy class, designed to absorb damage, thrives with talents like Taunt, Anticipation, or Grit, as they enhance damage mitigation. Sharpshooters, who focus on single-target damage, can leverage Cold-Blooded for guaranteed crits or The Bigger They Are… to improve their effectiveness against elite enemies.

Support classes like Medic or Scout can also benefit from these talents. Anticipation allows them to avoid damage while reviving allies, and they can also contribute to resource gathering by using Thievery and Espionage for credits and intel, respectively. Personally, I enjoy equipping Scouts with the Sabotage talent, which is situational but fits their theme of setting traps before the action kicks off.
