Understanding Fossilized Lightning in Arc Raiders
Arc Raiders has rolled out a new item called Fossilized Lightning, which players can discover and gather from the most intense storms. This material, known in reality as Fulgurite, serves a straightforward purpose in the game: it can be sold at Speranza or broken down for crafting materials. Here’s how to find Fossilized Lightning and what to do with it once you’ve got it.
Fossilized Lightning has a low chance of appearing in the craters created by lightning strikes during the Electromagnetic Storm events in Arc Raiders.
After a lightning strike, inspect the scorched ground where it hit, and you might spot a piece of Fossilized Lightning. The chances of finding it are slim—I’ve only managed to collect one piece per match—but it’s worth checking the area whenever you hear thunder nearby.
Currently, Fossilized Lightning serves two main functions: you can either sell it for 4000 coins or recycle it for three pieces of Explosive Compound.
Deciding between these options depends on your current needs in the game. Explosive Compounds are commonly used to craft various mid- to high-tier bombs and mines, while 4000 coins represent a significant value for items in Arc Raiders. Neither option is particularly groundbreaking, so assess your situation back at Speranza to determine the best course of action.
