GTA San Andreas cheats are your ticket to dominating gang wars without the grind. This installment features the ultimate cheat—a money code that not only fills your wallet but also restores your health and armor! Other cheats let CJ bulk up without hitting the gym, shake off the cops, and arm himself to the teeth.

With around 90 cheats available in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, you can activate them by entering specific button sequences on your controller or typing phrases on your keyboard. Most players will struggle to remember more than a few at a time, which is why we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of cheat codes organized by category, making it easy for you to find what you need to enhance your gameplay.

Keep in mind that not all cheats from GTA San Andreas are included in the latest Definitive Edition releases due to technical limitations and design choices, and we’ve noted which codes are affected. Additionally, the controls for Xbox cheat codes have been altered in the Definitive Edition.

Before diving into any cheats, make sure to save your game and keep that save safe. Some cheats can have lasting effects that might hinder your progress in the story, potentially forcing you to restart. If you’re playing a recent version of the game, using cheats will also disable trophies or achievements, which can be a bummer if you’re aiming for a complete collection.

To enter cheats on consoles, follow the button sequences during regular gameplay—not during cutscenes or when paused. Remember, the buttons will still perform their normal functions while entering cheats, so it’s wise to do this away from pedestrians and vehicles. On PC, simply type the phrase or code using your keyboard, again during active gameplay. The Definitive Edition offers more flexibility, allowing you to input most controller codes on PC and type phrases on consoles with a compatible keyboard.
