To kick off a romance with Samael, you need to advance through the main story until you reach Luna Bay and meet the Hosu family. The quests “A Curious Passage” and “The Mysterious Bay” set the stage for Samael’s storyline. You’ll need to clear a fallen tree, fix a bridge with Ludo, and help Samael prepare for a significant event.

Don’t freak out when you realize that the guy you’ve been crushing on has feelings for your new mermaid neighbor. Samael’s whirlwind marriage to Kim doesn’t actually happen. After you assist them with the ceremony preparations, Kim gets cold feet at the altar and bolts. For a week after being left at the altar, Samael will still be off-limits. But a week later, Orlock will surprisingly show up at your place, asking for your help to pull his nephew out of his funk.
