Assessor Matrixes are a new resource introduced in Arc Raiders’ Flashpoint update, and they’re notoriously difficult to obtain. If you thought tracking down Vaporizer Regulators was a challenge, prepare yourself. You’ll need to collect 24 of these for the High-Gain Antenna project, which is no small feat.

Here’s how to snag Assessor Matrixes, along with some tips to make the process smoother, as it’s easier said than done. Most importantly, equip yourself with powerful Arc-slaying weapons like the Hullcracker or Aphelion, and don’t forget to bring plenty of healing supplies.

You can only acquire Assessor Matrixes by breaching and looting the Assessor drop pods during the Close Scrutiny map condition. This event is currently active on one of the available maps at all times.

Assessors are three-legged platforms that descend from the sky, emitting red laser beams upon landing. Once you locate one, you’ll find three breachable containers, each with a chance to yield an Assessor Matrix—so you might get lucky and find up to three. Additionally, Assessors can drop various Arc materials and possibly the new Dolabra blueprint if fortune smiles upon you.

However, be aware that Assessors are heavily guarded by Arcs and often contested by other players. While teaming up to take down the Arc protecting the cache can be beneficial, it also opens the door for others to snatch the loot first. To enhance your chances, consider the following strategies:
