Solving the Bluemont Manor Strongboxes in Crimson Desert is generally simpler than tackling the Hernand Castle Strongbox. Instead of replicating a melody, you’ll be working with an owl image and some quirky pistons. You won’t need a key to access the strongbox room, but you will need a mask to snag the loot inside.
While I can’t confirm this, it seems you may need to complete the first two stages of the First Trial of Trust quest, which unlocks in Chapter 2 and is part of the Estate in Dismay faction quest for House Roberts, to gain access to Bluemont Manor. Here’s how to crack open the Bluemont Manor Strongbox.
To unlock this strongbox, you’ll need to align an owl picture by pressing four buttons that rotate sections of a hexagonal prism. If you haven’t pressed any buttons yet, refer to them as 1st to 4th from left to right, and the solution is:
If you’ve already pressed some buttons and can’t revert to a recent save, follow these steps instead:
The 4th button affects both the 1st and 4th sections, so you need to position the picture so that one press of that button aligns both sections correctly.
Inside the Bluemont Manor Strongbox, you’ll find the Oath of Darkness earring, which boosts defense by 2 and is valued at 4 silver and 26 coppers.
The second strongbox is located in the southern building of Bluemont Manor and requires you to rotate five segmented wheels to adjust some pistons. You need to set all the wheels correctly so that when you pull the switch on the right, they align with the image on the box.
Remember, every two movements of your character’s thumb equals one segment. Also, ensure all wheels are raised to their maximum for this solution. If we label left to right as 1-5, here’s how to solve it:
