Unlocking the Wolven Armor in The Witcher 3: A Guide

⚔️ The Wolven armor diagrams can be found in Kaer Mohern.⚔️ This set requires a level 14 character.⚔️ Be prepared to battle numerous wraiths to obtain it.⚔️ You can acquire the upgrade diagrams by purchasing notes from Éibhear Hattori in Novigrad, the armorer in Lindenvale, the armorer at Kaer Trolde, and the one in Hierarch Square.

Wolven armor is a medium-tier witcher gear set that serves as a versatile option, enhancing sign intensity, attack power, and adrenaline point accumulation. It also features a passive ability that boosts sword damage against bleeding foes. The set includes four armor pieces and two swords, but no crossbow, similar to the Griffin set.

To find the Wolven armor diagrams, head to the old signal tower just south of Kaer Mohern keep. There’s a small puzzle to solve, which is detailed in the accompanying video, but otherwise:

You can forge the armor at the armorers in Crow’s Perch, Novigrad, or Kaer Trolde.

Additionally, read the notes scrawled in a shaky hand found on a body in the cave to unlock the locations of the Wolven Silver Sword and Wolven Steel Sword diagrams, also located in the Kaer Mohern area:

– In the Bastion directly west of Kaer Mohern keep, look for a body in one of the burnt shacks as you enter. Be ready to face wraiths.

– At the Ruined Watchtower to the north of the keep, along the west side of the lake, you’ll find the enhanced steel sword diagram here as well. More wraiths await.

Once you’ve crafted the basic armor, you can upgrade it to enhanced, superior, and mastercrafted versions by locating the corresponding diagrams.

For the grandmaster level, travel to Toussaint in the Blood and Wine DLC and speak to Lazare Lafargue in his armor shop in south Beauclair to kick off the ‘Master Master Master Master!’ quest to find the diagrams.
