Figuring out how to vote in Helldivers 2 can be a bit tricky if you’re not familiar with the Democracy Space Station (DSS) and its role in supporting Helldivers in their epic battles. Voting allows you to influence where the DSS will deploy, providing tactical advantages based on community donations.

Here’s how to cast your vote for the DSS and help unlock powerful buffs during your campaigns against the bugs, bots, or Illuminate.

While it’s not explicitly stated, voting in Helldivers 2 lets you and the community decide the DSS’s next destination. To do this:

The DSS offers additional tactical options for the Helldivers 2 community to achieve objectives during major missions. If you’re unsure where to cast your vote, consider the live poll: the most popular choice often wins, as it’s typically a crucial planet for the current Major Order.

For instance, the recent Dispatch mentioned a ‘Vote to raze Merak.’ If you prefer not to raze Merak and want to shift focus to Aurora Bay, then vote for Merak. This seems wise since we’re currently using Merak as a launch point to attack Cyberstan, so keeping the DSS there would be ideal.
