Analogue taps into nostalgia with new translucent designs for its 3D console.
## Analogue is Tapping into Your Nostalgia with Translucent Versions of Its 3D Console
## These consoles are designed to evoke the classic N64 models from the late ’90s.
Analogue has just unveiled new color options for its recently launched Analogue 3D console. The limited-edition Funtastic consoles draw heavy inspiration from Nintendo’s iconic translucent N64 variants from the late 1990s. They’ve even revived the Funtastic branding to enhance that nostalgic vibe.
These consoles are a direct hit for gamers who remember the original era. One standout option is a see-through green model reminiscent of the Nintendo 64 bundle that came with _Donkey Kong 64_. Just picture firing up that console while belting out the lyrics to the classic DK rap.
With eight translucent colors available, players can also grab 8BitDo controllers separately. The consoles are priced at $300, while the controllers will set you back $45.
The Analogue 3D Funtastic consoles will be available for purchase on December 10 at 11 AM ET, with a promise of shipping within 48 hours to ensure they arrive by Christmas. Additionally, the traditional color options will be restocked at the same time, but those won’t ship until January.
The Analogue 3D has received praise for its ability to play N64 cartridges, even if some original games haven’t aged well. The 4K CRT emulation is impressive, and the overall hardware design is robust.
