December’s PS Plus Game Catalog Welcomes Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Sony has just revealed the new additions to December’s Game Catalog for PS Plus subscribers, and it’s shaping up to be a solid lineup. All these titles will be available starting December 16, except for Skate Story, which is already playable.

Skate Story is an intriguing skateboarding sim set in a glass-covered world. Reviews have been favorable, with players highlighting its bizarre narrative, surreal environments, and satisfying trick mechanics. Developed by Sam Eng, known for the indie shooter Zarvot, this game is exclusive to PS5 subscribers.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be accessible to both PS4 and PS5 players. This latest mainline entry from 2023 is a blast, featuring a “back to basics” design that should resonate with long-time fans of the series.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a 3D action RPG that originally started as a mobile game. This console version boasts music from Nobuo Uematsu and art direction by Hideo Minaba, both of whom have collaborated on titles in the beloved Final Fantasy franchise. It will be available on both PS4 and PS5.

Cat Quest III is a lighthearted action RPG featuring, you guessed it, cats (and dogs). This installment brings open-world antics to a vibrant land filled with islands, promising plenty of pirate-themed humor. The first two games were quite enjoyable, with an addictive gameplay loop and fun quests. It will be available on PS4 and PS5.

Other upcoming titles include Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Lego Horizon Adventures, Paw Patrol: Grand Prix, and Planet Coaster 2. Additionally, Sony is running a holiday promotion where new annual PS Plus subscribers can earn download credits for movies.
